When I seen Julie's post in our community page, I reached out to get her details and explained the issues we were having and she replied instantly that she could definitely handle our menice!
From our very first meet, and very first session, Petey was a different dog!!!!! Just from the very first session of training!!! We sat on the couch that evening after training with our Petey and were in just complete amazement at how different and obedient Petey was from just ONE hour of work!
We learned so much from Julie to keep working with Petey to make him and keep him the best obedient fur baby going forward!! I now enjoy walks without the pulling and not being able to control him around other people and dogs, we can take him to the stores now without being embarrassed from his behavior. We can now have guests at our home without Petey jumping all over them and licking them to death. Julie has really changed our lives, and we have such a good boy now and can be the best fur parents to our Petey.
If you are in need of training for your babies and are worried about it not working, the costs, or the embarrassment, DON'T!!! Give Pause 4 Paws a shot! I promise you will not be disappointed. Julie truly is GREAT at what she does, and it shows how much she LOVES what she does!

I love how she spent time getting to know him, understanding him, and building a relationship with him before she really dove into training. I also appreciate how much she wanted to understand what we wanted to get out of his training sessions. He’s a high energy puppy with a stubborn streak, but he has learned so much working with her. Julie has also taught us so much about WHY Franklin does what he does during some of the training sessions. She truly cares for these dogs and goes above and beyond in her training duties.

“I’ve known the love of six great dogs in my life, the last one gone too soon. All were easily trained, eager to please and a joy to our family and friends. So, we felt experienced enough to get a golden retriever puppy and named her Birdie. We knew the value of early puppy obedience classes and enrolled her in a group kindergarten class and then a group obedience class. She was a quick learner, with good attention and performance in class, but we quickly found out that she wanted to be the boss of me. Not my husband, just me. She was a very aggressive jumper, sometimes displaying a wolffish behavior towards me, especially when overtired or overstimulated, and on a few occasions became aggressive about guarding one of her treasures. Her jumping also created a problem when guests and grandchildren entered the home, so we avoided having company. We communicated often with the breeder about this behavior & actually considered sending Birdie back, but decided to try one on one training in the home to work on our specific issues.
We were so fortunate to discover Julie Sikorak who was the perfect trainer for us, and for Birdie.
Birdie was exactly one year old when we started working with Julie, who spent the first in-home session getting to know Birdie and building a relationship with her. She worked with Birdie in the beginning, as we observed, then gradually taught us how to respond & manage behaviors. Julie was very interested in our main goals, activities and family structure and adjusted sessions to incorporate visitors and new experiences into the training. Her work ethic & handler knowledge are outstanding and she was clearly interested in creating a harmonious relationship between us and Birdie. We have trained Birdie to go to her “place” (cot) when guests arrive and have been able to have company again. We no longer fear aggressive behavior & there have been no further guarding issues.
Julie asked hard things of Birdie, but because she took the time to build a relationship with her first, Birdie just loved her training sessions! Birdie is still a strong willed dog, but thanks to Julie, she’s already become the companion that we hoped for. She’s still a puppy, still in need of ongoing training and reinforcement, but now we have the skills to carry on while enjoying life together.”
